An English hearth atop a Roman foundation burns with the memories of Germanic kings and Viking ships. Its Flames flicker to and fro to forgotten Celtic tunes.

Based upon the Anglo-Saxon lyre the Thane pays homage to historical findings unearthed at Sutton Hoo. 7 strings, steel or nylon. Typically tuned for the key of C or D.
